Video content samples

Between 2015 and 2021, as the Digital Marketing Manager and later Senior Content Strategist, I hired and worked closely with creative agencies, freelance videographers, and animators to craft videos for Freshpet.

These videos ranged from internal sales materials, and training videos for retailers, to snackable content for paid and organic social. Below are some examples of content made specifically for paid and organic social, driving year-over-year site traffic growth and achieving 70% average video completion rates.

Demystifying the Freshpet roll

We were challenged to explain what was inside Freshpet's “mysterious” roll to pet parents. People were familiar with the sausage-like package but couldn’t wrap their heads around the ingredients or what it might look like once they opened it. These examples are some of my favorite executions in “demystifying” the Freshpet roll.

Our best-selling product

Letting loose for the holidays

At Freshpet, the Holidays were always a time for us to highlight our sense of humor and capture the interest of a wider audience during a lower sales time of the year. What started with one video called The Holiday Feast, which became a year-after-year tradition for the brand. This campaign was a series of short stories told by kids and their imaginations. We then brought to life their silly stories with dogs acting out each scene. See the complete Unofficial Holiday Tails series here.

Introducing Dr. Aziza Glass

In 2020, Freshpet signed a new Veterinarian Spokesperson to educate the community on pet health and speak to the press about fresh diets.

To introduce Dr. Aziza Glass, we wanted to invite viewers to get to know and love Dr. Aziza as we did in person. She was warm and naturally funny—a person you’d like to hang with at a party. She was also an unpretentious, accessible vet that you’d trust asking hard questions. This Q&A video was our solution to a natural “get to know you.”
